Terms of Use
Applies to the Investiq app, website and related services. Version 2026-08-11.2, last updated 11 August 2026.
Investiq provides education and simulation, not trading or personal advice. Use the service lawfully, protect your account and treat others respectfully.
1. Agreement
These Terms of Use apply to the Investiq mobile app, web app, website, educational content, simulations, community features and support.
By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms. Additional terms shown at checkout also apply to that purchase. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
2. The service
Investiq is an educational and social investing simulator. It includes lessons, quizzes, simulated portfolios, rankings, leagues, teams, market information and user-generated content.
Investiq is not a bank, broker or trading venue, does not execute real securities transactions and does not hold customer funds.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 and have reached the digital-consent age that applies where you live. If local law requires parental or guardian consent, you may not create an account without it.
If you cannot legally enter into a binding purchase, a parent, guardian or other authorised person must approve it.
4. Account and security
You must provide accurate information, protect your credentials and not allow anyone else to use your account. Contact us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.
You are responsible for activity through your account to the extent allowed by law and reasonably within your control.
5. Education, not personal advice
Content, examples, investor profiles, automated calculations and simulated results are general education and information. They are not a personal recommendation to buy, sell or hold a particular financial instrument.
You remain responsible for real financial decisions and should consult an authorised, independent adviser where appropriate.
6. Simulations and market data
Virtual balances and trades do not use real money. Simulated outcomes may differ materially from real trading because fees, taxes, spreads, liquidity, execution and market impact may be missing or simplified.
Market data may be delayed, incomplete or inaccurate. Past or simulated performance does not guarantee future results.
7. Acceptable use
You may not use the service unlawfully, deceptively, fraudulently, abusively or in a way that harms Investiq, other users or third parties.
You may not bypass security or limits, automate misuse, scrape protected data, manipulate competitions, impersonate another person or attempt to disrupt the service.
8. Your content
You retain your rights in content you post and are responsible for having the right to share it. You may not post unlawful, threatening, discriminatory, deceptive or infringing material.
You grant Investiq a non-exclusive, worldwide and royalty-free licence to store, display, process and distribute that content only as needed to operate, protect and improve the service. The licence ends when content is deleted, except for anonymised or shared copies that law or the service structure requires us to retain.
9. Moderation and community
The Community Rules describe prohibited content, how reports are assessed and possible actions. Investiq may take no action, warn, restrict visibility or features, remove content, or temporarily or permanently suspend an account where reasonably necessary for safety, legal compliance or enforcement of these Terms.
Rate limits and limited word and pattern filters may be used to slow obvious abuse. A person makes final moderation decisions; generative AI does not. Affected people normally receive a reasoned decision and a route to request review where law and safety allow.
User posts and messages express the relevant user's views. Investiq does not endorse or guarantee them.
10. Purchases, subscriptions and refunds
The price, currency, taxes, billing period, any automatic renewal and cancellation method must be shown before payment is confirmed. Specific preorder or campaign terms apply where expressly presented.
Information about withdrawal, refunds, exceptions and the online function for withdrawing from a contract is on the Withdrawal and refunds page. Purchases through Apple or Google are also handled under the app store's payment and refund rules. Mandatory consumer rights always apply. Deleting an Investiq account does not automatically cancel a subscription billed by an app store; cancel it through the store account settings.
11. Investiq intellectual property
Software, design, trademarks, text, graphics, compilations and original educational material belong to Investiq or its licensors and are protected by applicable law.
You may not copy, sell, republish, reverse engineer or make derivative works from protected parts except where law expressly permits it. Copyright complaints may be sent to the contact below.
12. Third-party services
Authentication, payments, notifications, infrastructure and external content may be supplied by third parties. Their own terms may apply to that part of the service.
Investiq remains responsible for its own obligations but does not control an independent third-party service's availability or content.
13. Availability and changes
We may update, restrict or discontinue features where needed for development, security, operations or legal compliance. A material reduction to a paid service remains subject to the contract and mandatory consumer law.
We work to keep the service stable but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability.
14. Suspension, termination and account deletion
You may stop using the service at any time and can delete your account in the app or request deletion through our public deletion page.
Investiq may restrict or terminate an account for a material breach, abuse, security risk or legal requirement. Where reasonable, you will be notified and given an opportunity to remedy the issue.
15. Warranties
The service is provided with the care required by the contract and applicable law. Free features may change and are provided without a promise of a particular future feature or service level.
Nothing in these Terms limits warranties or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
16. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Investiq is not responsible for financial decisions made using general educational material, simulated outcomes, delayed market data or content from other users.
These limitations do not apply to intentional misconduct, gross negligence, personal injury, fraud or liability that mandatory law does not allow us to limit.
17. Swedish law and disputes
These Terms are governed by Swedish law. Consumers retain the protection of mandatory law in their country of residence and may bring proceedings in any court available under applicable consumer rules.
Please contact us first so we can try to resolve the issue. Swedish consumers may also contact the National Board for Consumer Disputes (ARN).
18. Changes and contact
We publish revised Terms with an updated version date. Material changes will be communicated reasonably before they take effect. Continued use after that time means acceptance to the extent permitted by law.
