Use Investiq to practise and learn, not as the sole basis for real financial decisions.
1. Purpose and scope
This disclosure applies to Investiq lessons, news, market views, automated calculations, investor profiles, community features and simulated portfolios. Read it before using the material to learn about investing.
2. No personal investment advice
The content is general information and education. It is not a personal recommendation to buy, sell or hold a particular instrument and does not consider your full financial position, tax situation, time horizon or capacity for loss.
3. No real trading or custody
Investiq is not a broker, bank or trading venue. It does not accept trading orders, hold customer funds or connect to your bank or brokerage account. All portfolios and trades in the simulator are virtual.
4. Investing involves risk
Financial instruments can rise or fall in value. You can lose some or all capital invested in the real market. Historical performance, forecasts, examples and simulated outcomes do not guarantee future returns.
5. Market data and calculations
Prices, company information, news and other data may be delayed, incomplete or inaccurate. Automated calculations may rely on simplified assumptions. Always verify material information against a primary source before making a real decision.
6. Simulations and rankings
The simulator may omit or simplify fees, tax, spreads, liquidity, order-book depth, execution timing and market impact. Rankings and virtual outcomes measure in-game activity and do not show a participant's real wealth, suitability or future investing ability.
7. Editorial content and tools
We aim for factual, understandable content and distinguish fact from opinion. Tools may assist with research, structure, summarisation or calculations, but Investiq remains responsible for what it publishes. Errors may still occur and should be reported.
8. Conflicts and sponsorship
The operator or contributors may personally hold instruments that are mentioned. A material known conflict specific to the content will be disclosed where practicable. Editorial space is not currently sold; any future sponsored or paid material must be clearly labelled.
9. Community content
Posts, comments, messages and simulated portfolios from users express their own views. Investiq does not review everything before publication and does not endorse or guarantee user claims.
10. Your decision and corrections
You remain responsible for real financial decisions. Seek independent professional help when appropriate. Report errors, undisclosed conflicts or misleading content through the contact page so we can investigate.
